Let's see how long this lasts...

I have a tempory filling and go back next Friday for a crown...*sigh* if only it was for my head ;o)

Ok I admit I enjoyed the first one...the second one was ok and the third was a bit weird but ok. But OMG!!! What happened in the 4th 'Breaking Dawn'? I won't give anything away just in case someone has a slip in their being sane and decides to read it but come on! There are some serious issues with this novel. I don't preclaim to be an expert in Vampire lore but honestly...there are just some things that are down right stupid! But for all it's stupidity I have to finish reading cos it has to tie up all the loose ends flapping in the breeze...grrrr
Buffy was more true to lore than this schlock!  But then I loved BTVS!!

Our local Pub (Sofia's/Commercial Hotel) have a Karaoke night....I have been singing with our Wii Guitar Hero and singing HSM songs (and I can hit the same notes as Gabriella) for a while now...do I risk the public humilitation? ;o) (BTW....My singing sux)

Can a retaurant tell you how much, per adult, you have to spend?
I rang the Pancake Parlour (for Mother's Day) and they have a minimum for the day...$20 per adult and 1hr 30mins to eat.
Is this common practice?

I gotta say this is so totally boring! I have treated myself to a Charmend Marathon (yes I like it) and have gone for short wanders but I hate sitting here. We are off to a 1st birthday tomorrow and I am really looking foward to it!
We even had a guy here today to discuss our gardening woes in getting ready for selling and I even enjoyed chatting to him!! And he's gonna chrage us! Not for the chat but for the work around the house (eek!)

Well it's over!
My 4th and final (better be) knee operation is finished.
A week on crutches (originally told 3 days) and physio to do up the wazoo (not actually up there but for my knee;o))
A shocking night was had by all!
I think Lys is coming down with a cold (she told me she was but only after watching Charlie and Lola and Lola had a cold)
I was awake being in pain and uncomfortable so poor Michael was copping it from both girls!

Just as a side not...we have been invited to a birthday dinner on Friday (bugger cos we won't be going) and a 1st birthday on the Saturday....we may pop in as it's about 5 mins away. Freakin' crutches!!!

I hopefully will have had my fourth knee operation!
Yes I do realise that I only ave 2 knees but when you play (in the early years) Netball, Volley Ball, Basketball and Alyssa.
This will be the end of it! They are removing the torn cartilage and as long as I play nice and try to to tear it again...all will be good in the world!

So wish me luck and hopefully they do the right knee (it is actually my right knee...hope they don'y get 'em mixed up) ;o)

Sorry it's late we were choosing the colours for our new house ;o)

Not sure how it worked out but after explaining to Alyssa how daylight savings works SHE SLEPT IN TIL 9.20AM!!!!!
I went to Yoga at 8.00am and I came came back to the surprising news :o)
I guess she can be taught ;o)

Well with the money that Uncle Kevin dished out we did the unthinkable and purchased a Wii!

We have spent the better part of today playing Guitar Hero-World Tour. Me on vocals, Michael on guitar and Lys on drums!! And if you don't like some of the songs you can even download the ones you want...sweet!!! We are also on the lookout for HSM Singstar...Lys knows all the words (as do I) to EVERY song ;o) We all pretty much suck but geeze is it fun! It's a bit freaky to hear yourself sing (and a bit scary...oi) but it is a wonderful thing that we can all do as a family. We got some other games and stuff too. Mario Kart racing is good, Lys can do that too (with a little bit of steering help from Daddy)

The Wii Sport and Wii Play are actually pretty hard first time out, and second, and third. I assume we will get the hang of it, but the fact that it's something we can all do was what got us excited.

And you don't just sit there mute on the couch and give your thumbs a workout. You really gotta put a bit of effort in and, IMO, It makes it a little more fun. The billards was hard, fishing, damn hard and the target shooting was FUN!!! No ducks just balloons then targets then clay pigeons and then spaceships that are trying to steal people....like I said FUN! :oD

Well must away my vocal talents are required for a stunning rendition of "Eye of the Tiger" my public awaits...with earmuffs ;o)
